Undermining forced the closure of the Las Palmas ascent lane

The Ministry of Mobility, in coordination with the Unified Command Post, defined the closure of Avenida Palmas due to damage. The alternate routes are: Loma de San Julian, Loma de Televid, Loma de Castropol, Loma de Lalinde, Calle 10 and Los Balsos.

“This is due to the incidence of the La Niña phenomenon that has occurred in the city. With the Official Fire Department of Medellín, the Dagrd and its technical team, we have attended the most recurrent incidents such as tree collapses, floods and mass movements that have generated our response in a timely manner, “said Arango.

The director of Dagrd also specified that the communes most affected by the winter season have been 1 (Popular), 3 (Manrique) and 13 (San Javier).
