In the early hours of the morning of this Wednesday, the kidnapping of sugar businessman Jimmy Mejía, who was driving his truck on the roads of Valle del Cauca.
According to information shared on Twitter by Blu Radio, the cane grower was detained in the municipality of San Pedro, located in the center of the department.
What is striking about the case is that the authorities found the truck Mejía was driving burned. However, few details are known so far about his abduction.
Some personalities of the national politics have lamented in the last minutes the kidnapping of Mejía at the hands of criminals. For the moment It has not been established whether the entrepreneur in the sugar sector was accompanied by someone else in the vehicle.
