The clogging of the sewer system in the depressed Quebradaseca Avenue of Bucaramanga, east-west direction, caused flooding since last Sunday night.
Apparently the emergency occurred due to the accumulation of garbage. On Sunday, vehicles that were trapped as they turned off while passing through the flooded area were removed with the help of local residents.
“I was coming from my home business, unprepared, it was about 1:00 in the morning, when I realized I fell into the puddle, I was blocked, the car turned off. There were three taxis, like four motorcycles and my car in the same situation. That is a danger, wherever it comes I turn over there, I have the car in the workshop because it was finished, ”said Anderson Anaya, one of those affected.
Firefighters and Police came to the place, however, they do not have the machinery to suck the sewers so they are waiting for the Empas to carry out this work.
At the moment the traffic in the east – west direction is canceled so it is recommended to take alternate routes.
