According to the authorities, pressure from the Gaula and the Army forced the members of that criminal group to release the three adolescents and leave them at the Las Margaritas farm in the municipality of Tarazá (Antioquia), where they were found.
The other two rescued minors, who are also brothers, are Andrés Fernando Valencia, 15, and Cristian Luna Valencia, 17.
These are several of the moments in which they were seen escorted by the military to be evaluated by the doctors:

The commander of the Army’s Seventh Division, General Juvenal Díaz Mateus, pointed out that the boys were found in a rural area of the village of La Caucana, which is part of Tarazá.
The police reached that point after one of them contacted line 123 to report that they had been kidnapped, but that their captors left them at the aforementioned farm, Blu Radio said.
At first, only 6 disappeared were mentioned, but with the escape of one of them, it was confirmed that 8 young people were forcibly recruited; that is, there are still people detained and one is a minor under 15 years of age.

“We already have them, we must be careful because there are three other young people who are still there”General Díaz confirmed to journalists, who added that operations continue to be carried out not only to free the other three young people who would be in the power of ‘Los Caparros’, one against the criminal gang that commits crimes in this part of the country.
The three young people who remain in the power of the illegal group are José David Valencia Ramírez, 15 years old; Sebastián Pérez Gaviria and Darwin Javier Sáenz Montoya.
José David is the nephew of Mauricio Ramírez, the first young man to regain his freedom due to a health problem and the first to tell how they were kidnapped: “Some armed men left us and took us to a farm.”
In the last hours, another minor had escaped while serving a sentry shift ordered and gave clues about the location of his friends.
Meanwhile, thanks to the interviews of the first two young people who recovered their freedom and the identification of photographs, the Police pointed out the responsibility of the forced recruitment to aliases ‘Yonier’ and aliases ‘Orejas’, and offered a reward of 100 million pesos for those who provide information to help locate them.
For her part, the representative in Colombia of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (Acnudh), Juliette Rivero, welcomed the releases but insisted on the search for those who are missing.
We salute that 5 of the 8 young people, several adolescents, who were disappeared in Bajo Cauca on February 26 are free. 3 of them are still missing: José, Sebastián and Darwin. We encourage the group that has them in their power to release them in a humanitarian gesture
