The testimonies of the witnesses interviewed by the Prosecutor’s Office in its investigation into the disappearance of the minor, which shook the country, were known. Some of them are an informal saleswoman, the administrator of the pagadiario where the girl’s mother lived and the children of Nilson Díaz.
Efforts continue to clarify what happened to Sara Sofía Galván, the youngest of 2 years, who disappeared in Bogotá. This Friday the accounts of the witnesses that the Prosecutor’s Office presented during the hearing of charges were known. Again, these are two different versions.
According to Blu Radio, the first witness is an informal saleswoman, a friend of Carolina Galván (the girl’s mother), who presented the same version as the mother: Sara Sofía died and her mother and her ex-boyfriend, Nilson Díaz, dumped the body to the Tunjuelo river.

The administrator of the pagadiario where Carolina Galván lived is another of the witnesses in the case, who gave the same version as the mother’s friend. “That night he told me that the one-year-old girl had died. That she had given him food and breathed in, “said the Prosecutor’s Office.
However, this version is different from the one given by a hairdresser in the area where Carolina Galván lived and one of Nilson Díaz’s children, who stated that they saw Sara Sofía alive. “They asked her if she (Carolina Galván gave it away and says yes. They also asked her if it was true that the lady to whom she was given has a red car and Carolina also said yes,” said the prosecutor.

In addition, according to the station, one of Nilson Díaz’s children claimed that Sara Sofía Galván was a victim of mistreatment by her mother. Both Carolina Galván and Nilson Díaz were sent to prison, while they await the progress of the trial.
