Coronavirus in Bogotá: rules for the sectors that are activated in Bogotá – Bogotá

[ad_1]

Mayor Claudia López announced new key rules for employees in the sectors that will be reactivated on May 11.

These, he explains, will be key to avoid risks of contagion and crowds on public transport.

It is worth remembering that the return of the construction, manufacturing and trade sector will be gradual and will be subject to the endorsement of the Mayor’s Office according to the records made on the page www.bogota.gov.co

The ‘peak and gender’ is over

The ‘peak and gender’ measure will not take effect from Monday. Bogota citizens will no longer have mobility restrictions according to their gender, but must benefit from the new district regulations.

Maximum 50 km / hour speed

Vehicles and motorcycles can only circulate at a maximum of 50 kilometers per hour in mixed roads with three exceptions:

– Lanes for the exclusive use of mass public transport.
– Zones that have a pre-established 30 km / hour limit.
– Runners with a lower speed limit.
– Calle 26, North highway, Seventh race between 93 and 95 streets, South highway between 74 G race and limits with Soacha, which will have a time limit of 60 km / hour.

For companies authorized to operate

The companies authorized by the National Government to reactivate and that are endorsed by the District, have the following obligations.

1. Mandatory use of face masks.

2. Have a guarantee of a distance of at least 1 meter around other people.

3. No employee (outside of District sectors and emergency agencies) may enter before 9 a.m. to work.

Authorized work hours:

Construction sector: Between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Manufacturing sector: Between 10 a.m. and 5 a.m. (you can set multiple turnor in this time range)

Trade sector: Between 12 m. and 12 midnight

4. Clean surfaces every two hours: body and work objects.

5. Work at home as much as possible.

“One of the effects of the President’s decisions is that there will not be 1 million people on the streets, but more than 2,300,000,” the mayor announced.

He recalled that the activation depends on the authorization of the Mayor’s Office, which will be gradual and that if flaws or lies are found in the processes, there will be closings.

For citizens

1. Always wear face masks (on the street and at home).

2. Keep your distance from other people.

3. Mobilize on foot, by bike or in a shared car (with less than three people). And that the last resort is to use TransMilenio in rush hour.

4. Wash your hands every two hours.

Reactivation goals

As of May 11: 100% of authorized construction companies

As of May 18: 100% of the initial manufacturing companies (authorized on April 27)

As of May 25: 100% of the new manufacturing and trade sectors authorized by the National Government.

This depends on registering with the District, receiving protocol verification, and receiving authorization.

“The commitment is to do this slowly but surely,” said Claudia López.
