On the eighth day of Colombian football, Independiente Santa Fe received Independiente Medellín in El Campín. Both teams entered the duel with 13 points and great chances of getting into the top of the table.
The reds’ duel in Bogotá started quite evenly. Each one tried to impose conditions, seize the ball and appeal to direct play to violate the rival goal.
The middle distance became the main weapon of the game. First it was Matías Mier with a left foot that went just off the track and then Luis Manuel Seijas responded.
