The Win Sports channel has been in controversy this year for the birth of the Premium channel. However, in the midst of the controversy, and according to the report by Kantar Ibope, the only company authorized at the national level to measure the rating levels of channels in Colombia, Win was the most watched sports channel during the past April in the country.

The report indicates that the channel, although there is no professional soccer, had the highest audience both in the ‘full week full day’ and in the ‘full week prime time’, exceeding the second sports channel by 20% and 29% respectively of the ‘ranking’.

In April, the channel launched new programs, including the launch of the eLiga Dimayor, the first tournament that brings together professional Colombian soccer players in a video game competition. Four of the eight eLiga matches broadcast in April led the ‘rating’ among all the country’s sports channels.

ELiga Dimayor and Conexión were Win Sports’ most watched programs the previous month, according to the channel report. The tournament has been the most watched program on the channel, followed by Conexión.

During April, the channel launched new programs such as Clubland, Analysis Table, Argentine Soccer Classics and Ciclo Vida, a program broadcast in alliance with the Mayor of Cali for carrying out sports activities at home, such as aerobics, rumba, spinning, zumba, among others.

Likewise, on average, the eLiga has been the most viewed content of the entire grid of sports channels in the country. Four of the eight games broadcast in April were the highest rated broadcasts from these specialized channels.
