After the earthquake was presented, the Advisory Office for Disaster Risk Management of Cartagena (OAGRD) carried out a sweep carried out by the city, and so far, no emergency has been reported.

“We collect information from the Emergency Committees (COMBAS) and the city’s Fire Department. Fortunately, no emergencies have been registered so far in any of the areas. The official recalled the importance of keeping calm in these episodes, and of keeping the infrastructure of homes and buildings in good condition. He also added that the OAGRD is constantly monitoring to find out any effects that may have been caused.

“Let us remember that these types of earthquakes on the Caribbean coast are not frequent, we call for calm and continue to comply with the recommendations to keep our properties in good condition,” he said.
