An unusual event occurred in Hunting after a fisherman caught a giant cachama in the Sinú River, which was cataloged as ‘The miraculous fishing’.
Like every day, the man left his home very early to seek support for his family, when he encountered what he considers a miracle.
“Pedro says that he felt the heavy net and it was strange; however, with all his strength he brought it to shore and was surprised when he saw the largest cachama that has surely been caught in the river, ”said a relative of the fisherman.

Surprised, the man related that although on other occasions he had caught large fish, none compared to this one.
“It’s that it weighs more than 50 kilos, it’s very big, I still don’t believe it and neither do the neighbors who have come to my house. I think this is enough to feed the entire neighborhood, “added Pedro Hoyos.
For its part, the fact has attracted so much attention from citizens that many of them have come to his house to take pictures with the immense animal.
“I was not going to miss uploading this cachama to my nets, it is almost the same size as my son, the neighbor should make a raffle,” said a resident of the sector with laughter.
For now, the fisherman does not know what to do with the giant cachama, he considers selling it or even refrigerating it to eat it at Easter as is the Colombian cultural tradition.
