Although in the eyes of the public the sisters and the handsome protagonists were a solid group, the truth behind the scenes was very different for Danna, according to what she told Argentina.
Everything, according to García, began when his character and Mario Cimarro’s character began to take more flight in the novel: “I was not the protagonist, I did not feel that way. That was the issue, and I think that was part of the problem that I didn’t fit in well, because when the characters of Mario and me start to be like in the story a little more protagonists, because that did not go down very well. It wasn’t my fault, but you end up carrying the brown, as they say in Spain. But that was not my decision, it had nothing to do with it. The actress, who recently got over the coronavirus, explained that what was happening was that her colleagues, “perhaps, were not very aware, or people did not know, or my colleagues did not know, that I had no professional interest. Danna García had returned to Colombia after finishing a relationship that almost reached the altar and her energies were focused on remaking her life, putting everything in order.
“I arrived far from a hotel, because I was one of the few, along with the boys, who did not live in Colombia […] I kind of was very far from the team, it was like the newcomer girl, she was very lonely […] I got to record and was more concerned with learning my scripts, and I was more concerned with solving my personal status, where am I going to live, what am I going to do. My parents had just gotten divorced, ”Danna recalled, before making it clear that she did not find support in the novel.
“I was very lonely. I did not find a family in ‘Gavilanes’. I found a parking brake […] And I didn’t realize much about this distancing that I was generating […] I was an introvert, I am not the most partying … When you are different and there is also someone who is in charge of turning others against you … And I realize late, I realize halfway through the novel. I was having a very bad time. Maybe we were all … it was another time, it was another stage. I do not want to judge anyone. But there was a person who was already big enough to understand what he was doing, over 40 years old ”, the actress detailed, but without giving a precise name of who made her life impossible in the production, as can be heard in the fragment that rescued an Instagram account.
Despite the bitter drink she experienced while working, Danna remembers ‘Pasión de gavilanes’ with “a lot of pride and satisfaction, but not because of the recording period, because I think we weren’t very aware of what was happening with ‘Gavilanes’, I think which was later, when I finished recording ”.
