Valle reported 47 deaths from covid-19 this Tuesday, 36 of them in Cali

Valle del Cauca reported 47 deaths from covid-19 and 1,371 new localized infections on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health. The region adds 178,104 cases since the start of the health emergency.

Of the deaths, 36 correspond to patients in Cali. The others were registered in El Cerrito (2), Tuluá (2), Buenaventura (2), Palmira, El Dovio, La Unión, Seville and Cartago.

At the national level, the Health portfolio detailed that 10,091 cases were identified in the last 24 hours, so the global count reached 2,114,597, of which 82,659 are active.

They also indicated that there were 304 deaths in the last day, which raised the number of deaths associated with the coronavirus to 54,576, while the recovered patients increased to 1’971,342.

The infections located in Colombia this Tuesday are distributed in Bogotá (3,051), Valle (1,371), Cundinamarca (925), Antioquia (847), Tolima (588), Santander (400), Huila (334), Boyacá (263), Barranquilla (210) and Nariño (205).

Below the line of 200 cases, Cartagena (187), Caldas (157), Meta (157), Atlántico (154), Cauca (133), Risaralda (128), Santa Marta (117), Norte de Santander ( 107), Chocó (87), Quindío (84), Caquetá (77), Cesar (77), Córdoba (74), Sucre (68), La Guajira (56), Putumayo (47), Casanare (43), Vichada (32), Magdalena (31), Amazonas (29), Bolívar (26), Arauca (24) and San Andrés (2).
