The union leader died in a clinic in the north of Bogotá from complications derived from cancer, according to the first reports.

Tulio Zuloaga, former president of Asopartes, died in Bogotá, as confirmed by his son through a publication on social networks.

In it, Zuloaga’s son (the influencer Tulio Zuloaga) assured that “another of the great men of Colombia has left. Many remember his face in the news, fighting, proposing, promoting the growth and justice of this great country that he loved so much and for which he fought so much as president from his beloved Asoparte ”.

Zuloaga Sr. joined Asopartes in 1998 and was in charge of this union for more than 20 years. He was one of the most notable heads of this sector, respected by analysts and entrepreneurs, as well as with a continuous willingness to comment and discuss industry matters.

“With deep sadness we regret to report the death of our beloved Doctor Tulio Zuloaga; who for more than 20 years led the presidency of Asopartes and with great love and dedication did great things for our sector ”, said Asopartes through his social networks.

Businessmen and some political sectors, such as the Democratic Center, lamented the death of the union leader.
