Exactly, the sectors that have been enabled to produce —to which the businesses that could reopen from next Monday would be associated— are textiles, clothing, leather, wood and cork, cardboard and paper, chemical products, metal products and Electric equipment.
Héctor Riveros, from the panel of analysts of that station, went further and put into more practical words what will happen from next Monday in the capital cities and in the sectors that are 60 kilometers around: “What I would like to say, and in that case it would be easier to say it that way, it is that the quarantine is lifted, because the rest becomes an impossible thing for the Police ”.
Morales said, however, that the measure does not fully cover shopping centers.
The commercial premises whose opening will be authorized from next Monday must, however, observe the biosafety conditions with which the production plants have been working.
According to Morales, in the announcement that Duque will make, it will include the reopening of the economic life of 890 municipalities in the country called non-COVID, because the coronavirus is not present.
“The idea is that the typical town businesses (shops, stationeries, workshops, miscellaneous) can open as soon as the quarantine ends, which will be on Sunday at midnight,” he said. “They are going to impose restrictions on inter-municipal transport, so that they are opened [esos municipios], but do not take risks with the arrival of people from municipalities that have the virus ”.
National transportation, including air transportation, remains prohibited until at least May 31.
