There is consternation in Caldas after authorities reported that four-year-old María Ángel Molina was found dead in the Arma river, a tributary shared by the departments of Caldas and Antioquia.

“We have found the lifeless body of the minor. It was found thanks to a drone that showed the presence of some animals that were consuming it,” said the Secretary of Government of Caldas, Jhon Jairo Castaño.
The authorities have not yet revealed whether the minor has signs of torture or abuse prior to being thrown or falling into the river. The facts have not been confirmed since his abductor has not accepted that he has something to do with this event.
