Authorities confirmed that a man was killed on a SITP bus
after steal cell phones from several passengers that were mobilized by Boyacá avenue with seventh street, at Castilla neighborhood west of Bogotá.

The event was presented at 7:00 pm this Monday and, according to the commander of the Metropolitan Police of Bogotá, general Óscar Gómez Heredia, the two subjects entered the bus at steal cell phones and other belongings to passengers.

Several of these passengers reacted to the threat, but one of them took the knife of one of the assailants and injured him to death.

Subsequently, the passenger responsible for the homicide he fled the scene and is now wanted by the authorities. However, the police officer invited this person to surrender to the authorities and clarify under what circumstances presented the facts.

In turn, the Secretary of Security, Hugo Acero, confirmed that at least, five passenger testimonials who ratified that the dead person was one of the assailants.

He added that, in principle, it was a reaction of one of the passengers who took the gun from one of the criminals and injured him to death.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police of Bogotá insisted that these types of facts are of regret and announced the relevant investigation to find the whereabouts of the person responsible.
