Coronavirus in Colombia: infections, deaths and recovered on January 3 – Health

In the last 24 hours, 11,380 recovered patients were confirmed, according to the Health Ministry.

The Ministry of Health confirmed 200 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia, of which 183 correspond to previous days. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 43,965.

This Sunday, January 3, the health authority also reports 9,412 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 33,977 tests were processed (26,621 PCR and 7,356 antigens).

Thus the things, the country reaches 1,675,820 confirmed coronavirus cases. To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 480,219 confirmed infections, after 2,959 more cases were reported this Sunday.

The majority of cases reported this Sunday were in: Bogotá (2,959), Antioquia (2,275). Valle (590), Risaralda (478) and Cundinamarca (388).

On the other hand, this report from the Ministry of Health indicates that, in the last 24 hours, they confirmed 11,380 recovered patients. Thus, there are already 1,542,353 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in Colombia.

With this update, a total of 85,039 cases remain active in the country.
