Covid in Colombia: infections, deaths and recovered on January 1 – Health

The Ministry of Health confirmed 282 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia, of which 244 correspond to previous days. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 43,495.
This Friday, January 1, the health authority also reports 12,105 new infections in the last 24 hours.

Thus, the country reaches 1,654,880 confirmed coronavirus casess.

On the other hand, this report from the Ministry of Health indicates that, in the last 24 hours, 12,129 recovered patients were confirmed. Thus, there are already 1,520,548 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in Colombia.

With this update, a total of 86,437 cases remain active in the country.
