The Turkish newspaper Sporx conducted the survey and invited its readers to choose the best and worst, in 2020, of that country’s football; there, Radamel Falcao García got the highest vote in the category of “biggest disappointment”.
Of the 6,259 votes, the Colombian national team striker obtained 59%. The second place was occupied by the Serbian Adem Ljajic, with 17%, while the third was taken by the Turkish Mert Hakan Yandaş, with 11%, as can be seen in the following trill:
In the biggest disappointment vote of 2020, 6 out of 10 people have the same opinion: Radamel Falcao.
📉% 59 – Radamel Falcao
📉% 17 – Adem Ljajic
📉 11% – Mert Hakan Yandaş– Sporx (@sporx) December 31, 2020
And it is that Falcao García, who plays for Galatasaray, could not play with his team for more than a month, due to physical ailments and injuries, which also prevented him from playing matches with the Colombian National Team.
For this reason, according to Turkish media, the team was “very disappointed” in him, and even said they were already looking for a replacement.
However, the Colombian, who apparently had proposals to play in the MLS, the United States league, would stay in Galatasaray because the interest of the American team would have fallen.
So far there is no certainty of the future of Falcao, who for the moment continues to train with the Turkish team, as can be seen in this image:
