Bogota
The capital did not have a curfew during December 31 and not on January 1, but it did have a dry law and total restriction of alcohol consumption between 00:00 on Thursday, December 31 until 11:59 pm on Friday January first. In Bogotá, then, the sale or consumption of liquor is not allowed in any commercial establishment, nor is the sale of alcoholic beverages at home.
The peak and card and the peak and plate will continue in order to control mobility and the departure of people. In addition, the prohibition of the use of gunpowder is maintained to avoid injuries.
Bucaramanga and Santander
Bucaramanga has an even and odd peak and ID between December 30 and until January 16. The peak and cedula totally restricts the circulation of the people to whom the restriction applies through public places.
For this reason, the Mayor’s Office established some exceptions so that people who go to restaurants, bars, hotels, churches, among some others, can leave when they present proof of reservation or prior appointment.
In the beautiful city a curfew and dry law were also decreed. The measures apply from December 31 and go until January 2, between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
After January 2, the curfew will go until January 16, between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am
For the bridge of kings there will be dry law and curfew again, this time for 81 continuous hours, from 9:00 pm on Friday, January 8 to 6:00 am on Tuesday, January 12.
In the rest of Santander, the peak and ID applies only to establishments, offices, among others, and is not a total restriction on mobility and is established by two digits for each day. The curfew in the department also goes between 9:00 am and 6:00 am on the days of December 31 to January 2.
Cúcuta and Norte de Santander
In the department, which is experiencing a critical moment in the Covid-19 pandemic, there is a total curfew between January 1 and 3, 2021. For December 31 and the days following January 3, the It remains until January 8, between 7:00 pm and 5:00 am the next day.
The consumption of alcoholic beverages in establishments is prohibited from six in the afternoon until five in the morning the next day.
Medellin and Antioquia
The governor in charge of Antioquia, Luis Fernando Suárez, updated the measures for the department’s subregions such as the Aburrá Valley, East, Southwest and West. This, because Antioquia reports an ICU occupancy of 83.68% according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health.
These sub-regions of the department have a curfew from 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, until 6:00 am on Sunday, January 3. The measure was extended one more day, as it would initially go until Saturday, January 2.
In Medellín, Christmas lights are also suspended until the first week of January and more restrictions will be evaluated for the bridge of kings.
On the other hand, in the subregions of Urabá, Magdalena Medio, Bajo Cauca, North and Northeast of the department of Antioquia, the curfew began on December 22 and will go until Sunday, January 3, between 00:00 and 6:00 am
Antioquia also decreed a peak and ID that will go until Sunday, January 3, 2021: people with ID ending in an even digit may enter establishments on even days, while odd ones will do so on those days.
Cali and the Cauca Valley
The mayor of Cali, Jorge Iván Ospina, also tightened restrictions due to the increase in infections in the capital of the Valley. Now, Cali has a continuous curfew from 9:00 pm on December 31 to noon on Sunday, January 3.
Only one person per family may go out to take care of food purchases in stores or supermarkets, but in the same way the peak and ID will apply for said establishments.
Ospina had already decreed the closure of the Pance River between 6:00 a.m. on December 31 until 6:00 a.m. on January 4, 2021 in order to avoid the traditional end-of-year meetings in that place.
The mayor also prohibited the traditional popular festival that takes place on January 1 in Ulpiano, in the 13th commune of Cali. Any event or meeting in public space is also prohibited.
In the other municipalities of the Valley, the curfew decreed by Governor Clara Luz Roldán will go continuously between 8:00 pm on Thursday 31 until 12:00 noon on Sunday, January 3. The prohibition law and the peak and cedula are also maintained.
Ibagué and Tolima
In Ibagué there is a total curfew that runs from 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30 to 6:00 am on January 2.
The rest of Tolima, which remains on alert due to the high number of infections and ICU occupation, has a curfew between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am, a measure that applies from December 20 and will go until January 2nd.
Other departments that also decreed a curfew were Atlántico; Boyacá and La Guajira, which also have a dry law; Goal; Quindío and Risaralda.
