The measure of the peak and ID in Cali for this December 31 restricts the entrance to commercial and banking establishments to those people with an identity document ending in odd numbers.
With this restriction, the authorities seek to curb the speed of contagion of covid-19 in the city, given the high number of cases that are reported every day and the risk of more positives during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

This Thursday, those with an identification card ending in an odd digit (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9), as established in the norm, can enter.
The measure was consigned in decree 4112.010.20.2130 of 2020, issued by Mayor Jorge Iván Ospina.
It should be remembered that for this December 31 in Cali the curfew and prohibition measures will also govern, which will begin at 9:00 pm and will extend, in a running, until Sunday, January 3 at noon in Cali.
This tightening of the measures is due to the increase in the contagion of covid-19 in the city and by the occupation of beds in Intensive Care Units, which reached 91% this Wednesday.
Therefore, this measure limits the circulation of citizens in Cali throughout the end of the year and the beginning of 2021.
However, one person per family will be allowed to stock up on food in stores and supermarkets, but they will only be able to enter with a pick and ID.
Pick and plate
Mayor Ospina indicated that there is no peak and plaque this December 31 in Cali. In addition, there is also no peak and plate on January 1 (because it is a holiday), 2 and 3.
However, there is a peak and plate from Monday, January 4 to Friday, January 8, 2021 with the same rotation that comes from the last semester of 2020.
That is, the peak and plate remains in force from January 4 to January 8 as follows:
– Monday: 3 and 4
– Tuesday: 5 and 6
– Wednesday: 7 and 8
– Thursday: 9 and 0
– Friday: 1 and 2
