According to preliminary information, the theft that caused a loss of approximately 600 million pesos occurred last Wednesday, December 23, and about 200 people were responsible for the incident.
However, after a general balance sheet delivered on Monday night by the Atlantic Police, it was reported that the town had a rumor that the workers had reported that the owner was imprisoned and that the farm had been left without an owner. Well, Darío Raggio told EL TIEMPO that the situation began on the 23rd, but It lasted all these days until the hours of the night of this Monday, December 28, when building materials were being stolen from the farm.
“The company has several offices in other farms, which is dedicated to the activity of fish farming. In two years it has been working well and it is the first time that something like this has happened. I was amazed at the magnitude of the events. Today, I really do not intend to continue for very obvious reasons, ”said the Argentine representative.
Raggio added that he feels vulnerable to what happened and is seriously considering stopping activities. Therefore, it regrets the fate that it brings to its workers who depend together with their families on this work to obtain economic income.
