The new infections of coronavirus in Barranquilla and the Atlantic registered an increase this Sunday, according to the daily bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health.
According to the report, in the capital of the department there were 313 new cases and five deaths, while in the rest of the Atlantic there were 80 infections and four deaths, three in the municipality of Soledad and one in Sabanalarga.
Meanwhile, at the national level, Colombia added 8,702 new coronavirus infections this Sunday, while adding another 187 deaths on this day, according to the report of the Ministry of Health.
In total, the country has accumulated since March, when the first contagion was reported, 1,425,774 positives and 39,053 deaths from Covid-19.
The daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health recorded the highest number of cases on this day in Bogotá and the department of Antioquia, regions in which there were 2,504 and 1,551 respectively.
