Authorities are investigating the death of Miller Cortés, 59, who was a victim of chartering in northwestern Bogotá.
The man withdrew $ 10 million at the Titan Plaza shopping center. According to the research, one person “flagged” it for freight forwarders to pursue.
Even in the basement of the parking lot they took pictures of his truck in order not to lose track of him.
Cortés went to 116th Street with Boyacá to go south, then took 80th Street and, when they were in the Minuto de Dios sector, they intercepted him.
Given the refusal to hand over the money, they shot him; which ended up costing him his life. The victim was accompanied by his wife.
“From the first moment, the investigations and information gathering by the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office are initiated,” said Colonel Julio César Salgar, commander of the Engativá Police Station.
And he recalled that “the Police provide support to people who are going to withdraw certain amounts of money.”
In the last three days there have been three cases of chartering in Bogotá.
