In a luxurious mansion in Envigado, Antioquia, a noted drug trafficker and alleged heir of alias ‘Fritanga’ and of the criminal organization called La Oficina was captured. He is Jhon James Pulgarín, known by the alias of ‘Servi’.
A drug package that he delivered to alleged Central American gangsters in Medellín was key to his arrest. A DEA agent, accompanied by Dijin troops, infiltrated the La Oficina gang for several months.

General Óscar Atehortúa, director of the National Police, explained that Pulgarín “has a very close family link to the well-known drug trafficker ‘Fritanga’, who was extradited to the United States and later deported to Colombia.”
And with the arrival of ‘Fritanga’ to the country, according to the investigation, not only did the cases of homicides begin to increase in some areas of Antioquia, but to be captured those who at the time were his trusted men.
‘Servi’ was named successor to lead the band La Oficina after the extradition of another narco known as ‘Fredy Colas’.
During the almost two years of investigation, the DEA and Dijín collected all the evidence to capture alias ‘Servi’, who was hiding in a luxurious house. His escorts tried to flee and hide on the rooftops.
Pulgarín would have ties with the Clan del Golfo and the ELN, authorities say. He would have allied with these criminal groups to send drugs to Central America and the United States.
Along with this man, another 18 designated drug traffickers were captured, 10 of whom are requested in extradition by the US justice system.
