A well-known community leader from the Villa San Marcos neighborhood, in Cali, was attacked in a community dining room by a man who, after struggling with her, fired his gun and injured her neck. Her husband cries out for protection from the authorities.
Silvia Helen Rodríguez, known for her social work in the Villa San Marcos neighborhood, was surprised by a hit man, who attacked her by shooting her in the neck. Apparently, the impact did not affect vital organs and he is recovering in a clinic in the city where he is under medical observation.

Ever Adolfo Ramos, Silvia’s husband, relates that the events occurred at noon yesterday, in a community dining room that she leads, which is part of the agreement of the Archdiocese and the Mayor’s Office of Cali.
“A young man comes to ask for lunch, she tells him that they are finished, he asks her about the proximity of a bakery, she refers him and tells him where it is. At that time my wife leaves the dining room, takes the passage down the street and the man goes to her side and asks her about the bakery again, so she returns and tells him, “says the victim’s husband.
