A man wanted to assassinate Yesenia Montero in a brutal way and with total brutality, in the Los Chorros area, on the hillside of Cali, and when he failed to do so, he later tried again.
After giving this woman 14 wounds with a knife, the aggressor entered the place where she was hospitalized and attacked her again, so the victim is struggling between life and death, authorities reported.
The attack occurred on the night of this Wednesday, on Carrera 66 with Calle 2 Oeste, in the capital of Valle del Cauca. This fact, the local authorities assured, is an attempt to femicide.

The commander of the Cali Metropolitan Police, General Manuel Vásquez, regretted the fact and said that they are investigating to find the whereabouts of the person responsible, since he represents a danger to society and to the victim, who was “attacked in an irrational manner.”
And he added that there are new security devices to protect the life of women.

“Here whoever attacks a woman, the one who pays her,” said the officer, who assured that the alleged perpetrator was captured.
