Video | Disney revealed a sneak peek of the Colombia-inspired film set to premiere in 2021

This Thursday, December 10, during an event with big announcements about Star Wars and Marvel for the Disney + platform, the company released the first glimpse of Charm, an animated film inspired by Colombia.

The film is directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, who were behind ‘Zootopia’. Charise Castro also participates in the script. It will be a musical with songs in Spanish and English composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the Broadway phenomenon Hamilton.

Some specialized Disney forums indicate that its protagonist will be Mariana, a teenager from a magical family who cannot find her own powers. Other names of characters would be Juana, Inés, Lidia, Fernando and Carlos.

Disney also announced that it will add 50 new Star Wars, Marvel, Disney and Pixar series “in the coming years”.
