The paths for Reinaldo Rueda to reach the Colombian Soccer Team are increasingly clear.

The president of the Chilean Football Federation, Pablo Milad, confirmed exclusively to El País that he sees very possible that the Colombian coach will become Carlos Queiroz’s replacement.

“Yes, it is possible,” replied the Chilean manager to the question of whether this option could be specified.

Milad, who did not want to delve further into the subject, also acknowledged having had a contact with Ramón Jesurún, president of the Colombian Football Federation.

“We spoke something general during a meeting in Paraguay,” said Milád, who later pointed out that it was “better to wait for everything to materialize.”

El País exclusively announced last Friday that Reinaldo Rueda would be the new coach of the Colombia National Team, after taking steps to leave the Chilean team.

The Colombian coach had been granted conditional registration in Chile for the last two adverse results in the tie. If in the March games, against Paraguay and Ecuador, he did not obtain victories, he would cease to be the helmsman of La Roja.
