This Monday, December 7, the Christmas lighting is inaugurated in Cali. The Mayor’s Office announced the route.
The activity is expected to start at 6:30 pm and conclude at 12 am
The starting point of the lighting caravan, which this year will be mobile due to the covid-19 pandemic, is the Pan-American Sports Unit.

From there the floats will leave, which will then take Calle 5 to Carrera 44, where they will turn to lead to the Suroriental Highway.
They will continue along this important road artery and then they will turn onto Calle 44. Finally, the floats will move along Carrera 5 and end the route in Villa del Prado.
According to the Mayor’s Office, there will be three types of caravans. “One that will go through the main roads and two that will run simultaneously through the streets of the surrounding neighborhoods.”

The caravan will have 24 vehicles and 1,300 figures.
This year’s Christmas lighting will cost $ 10.3 billion and last for one month (through January 7) of 2021.
