Two armed men posed as clients of a bank to steal the boxes from the branch, which is located in the Park Way sector, in the town of Teusaquillo.
Moments of anguish were experienced in one of the branches that Banco de Bogotá has in the sector of Park way (Teusaquillo town) for a robbery under the form of ‘blockbuster’.
According to the statements of Lieutenant Colonel Alexander González, two men posed as clients of the bank to line up. With each customer served they got closer and closer to the boxes without raising suspicions. It is when they arrived at the ticket office that they drew their weapons and threatened the cashiers, who gave them the money they had at that time.
The exact amount of money that was stolen is not yet known. So far, Banco de Bogotá has not made a statement in this regard.
“The police are carrying out investigations to clarify the facts and identify these two people, since they have photographic records and videos, as well as interviews of the users who were there,” said González.
The events were recorded in Carrera 19 with Calle 40, around ten in the morning. Information obtained by Blu radio shows that the criminals quietly left the place, transporting the money in black bags.
