Bogotá doubles Antioquia in cases of COVID-19 this December 5: Colombia registered 9,642 new infections

The Ministry of Health reported, this December 5, 9,642 new cases of coronavirus in Colombia. In the last 24 hours, 52,780 tests were processed, of which 31,345 are PCR and 21,435 are antigens.

The report also indicates that the number of deaths is 166. This Friday the country reaches a total of 37,633 dead since the virus reached national territory.

Colombia came to 1′362,249 infected, of which 71,705 are active cases and 1′249,702 correspond to positive cases that have already overcome the disease.

Regarding the contagion of covid-19 by cities and departments of the country, Bogotá and Antioquia continue to lead.

The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia, Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, North from Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
