The renowned Santander businessman, Jhon Jairo Jaimes Monsalve, known as ‘J.J’, who was dedicated to the fur, leather and footwear business, was murdered in Valle del Cauca.
His body was found, this Thursday morning, inside his white Toyota truck, with KKT-511 plates, in the Pichindé sector, a place known as Alvear alley.
According to preliminary versions, the body would have several bullet wounds. However, at the moment details of what happened are unknown as members of the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office will travel to the place to verify the situation and carry out the removal of the body.
Jaimes Monsalve was a leader, as president of the Association of Furriers of Colombia, he worked for aid for the union in which hundreds of people, due to the pandemic, were left without work. He also fought for the prohibition of the entry of products that compete with the local market.
