President Iván Duque called on Tuesday afternoon as “sewer rats” the corrupt who want to keep public resources destined for children.

The Head of State also said that he ordered the Minister of Education, María Victoria Angulo, and the director of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, Icbf, Lina María Arbeláez, to criminally denounce the contractors, who delivered 28 thousand food rations, that were for children, to deceased beneficiaries.

“I also give the instruction very clear to the Icbf and also to the Ministry of National Education, that where the contractor is delivering fraudulent information, we ourselves are going to file criminal complaints against those contractors”said the Head of State.
“That there is not a single contractor here who intends to pocket resources that correspond to the childhood of our country,” warned the President.
From Leticia, the head of state said: “It is painful to see sewer rats, which are those contractors who try to find devices to divert resources, to stay with them in the resources and not give them to the children of Colombia. “
