The mystery of the disappearance of the strange metallic monolith that was found on November 18 in the desert of the state of Utah, in the United States, seems to have been solved.

The story of Bernards, who claims to have witnessed the events, was posted on Twitter by Andy Baio (a blogger known for being the author of the blog Waxy.org).

Another explanation about this monolith indicates that it was installed by the artist John McCracken, who died in 2011.

However, McCracken’s gallery owner David Zwirner assured the newspaper ‘The Guardian ‘that the object did not belong to the artist, although it could belong to “some admirer who wanted to pay tribute.”

Monolith in Romania
Another metal structure similar to the Utah monolith was found thousands of kilometers away, in northern Romania, on November 26, when a person jogging through the area ran into it.
The mysterious monolith is, specifically, in Batca Doamnei Hill, in the city of Piatra Neamt.
The structure is very similar to the one they would have laid out in the Utah desert: It is about four meters high, made of shiny metal, and has a triangular section.
