This Thursday the video of a man who began to throw bills while walking in the company of a woman in the historic center of Cartagena.
The recording shows how the supposed foreigner is walking when he takes out a wad of money and begins to throw it. Those who are in the place jump to catch what they can, pushing themselves and some of them ending up on the floor to keep the 2 thousand pesos and 1 dollar bills.

The scene was captured last Wednesday afternoon by photographer Adolfo Palacios, reported Blu Radio.
“I’m not sure if he was a singer, an influencer. He was a man who spoke English and was with two other young people, one who played the music and the other who recorded,” Palacios said.
Many describe what happened as “humiliating”, even in the video you can see that there were some minors.
At the moment, it has not transcended the identity of the man or if he is a foreign tourist, influencer or famous person. The authorities have not spoken either.
The event triggered a new controversy, after this week a video of a group of young people who distributed lollipops with soap to older adults and street dwellers in La Heroica became known.
