“Everything will be demarcated to avoid crowding; Families can sit up to 4 people in a row, and the next person cannot be closer than 2 meters, which forces us to have a maximum capacity of 30%. To a certain extent, a room with 150 seats can accommodate 45 people, and we will renew the air filters in the room between 2 and 3 times per hour ”.

For her part, Carolina Algarín, marketing manager at Royal Films, announced that they have eight multiplexes that will open today in the country, with a capacity of 35% of the room in order to ensure a minimum distance of 2 meters.

“In Cali, the multiplex theater at the Unique Shopping Center, the multiplex at La Estación and the Jardín Plaza multiplex will begin to operate. The capacity will be approximately 44 people or 70 people ”, he added.

The executive added that they accepted all the regulations of resolution 1408 of 2020 of the National Government.

“For this reason we ensure the distance of 2 meters by means of signage from the entrance, when buying a ticket, even in the bathroom. There will be a cleaning area and temperature measurement; and the air will be changed from time to time to ensure ventilation. There is also constant disinfection of the room and common spaces ”, he added.

On the other hand, the Cinépolis company announced on its website that the El Limonar room will have “antibacterial gel dispensers; disinfection of surfaces and equipment after each transaction, delivery of cut tickets at the time of purchase to minimize contact with the customer; and clear signs of distancing for collaborators and clients ”.

Similarly, the consumption of food will be allowed only in the designated seat, “and they must be delivered packed, in such a way that they are not exposed to the environment while the attendees transit to their location,” warned Minsalud.

It should be said that all companies recommended the use of bank cards to buy ticket office, food, among others.
Finally, Jimmy Dranguet, Undersecretary of Inspection, surveillance and control assured that this weekend they will be verifying compliance with the protocols in the cinemas.
