With these numbers, Colombia reached a total of 1,270,991 COVID-19 cases. Of that number, 1,174,959 people defeated the virus and 35,860 died. The country reached day 264 of the pandemic with 57,260 active cases.

Deaths from coronavirus in Colombia today, November 25:

The Health Ministry confirmed that 183 people died from the virus and 162 of them died in the days prior to Wednesday’s report.

Further, by regions, 31 victims were reported in Bogotá, and 30 victims in both Valle del Cauca and Antioquia. Those three regions continue to lead in deaths during the pandemic.

Deaths were also reported in Norte de Santander (15), Santander (14), Caldas (11), Huila (6), Cartagena (5); Boyacá, Meta, Sucre and Tolima (4 each); Cesar, Cundinamarca, Quindío, Risaralda and Santa Marta (3 each); Atlántico, Barranquilla and Nariño (2 each); Bolívar, Caquetá, La Guajira and Guaviare (1 each).

The youngest person to die was a 20-year-old man in Colon (Nariño) who suffered from diabetes and the oldest was a 104-year-old man in Purificación (Tolima) who had hypertension and cardiovascular disease. By ages, the deaths were distributed as follows:

– 0 to 19 years: no person.
– 20 to 29 years: 2 people.
– 30 to 39 years: 7 people.
– 40 to 49 years: 8 people.
– 50 to 59 years: 13 people.
– 60 to 69 years: 46 people.
– 70 to 79 years: 55 people.
– 80 to 89 years: 46 people.
– Over 90 years: 6 people.
