Jhon Hinestroza was a trend this Sunday on social networks due to the number of cards he showed in the Pasto vs Santa Fe match, for the first leg of the quarterfinals.
Hinestroza showed a total of 10 yellow cards, three to the Pastuso cast and the remaining seven to the capital. In addition, he sanctioned 40 fouls, so the game was severely interrupted.
Even in the second half he showed a red card to the ‘cardinal’ player Carlos Arboleda for an infraction, but the VAR assisted him and, after reviewing the play again, he reversed his decision and only showed him yellow.
Pasto was respected at the Libertad stadium: he beat Santa Fe 1-0, with disputed arbitration
“Jhon Hinestroza damages football, he is a detrimental referee for the game. Until when”, was one of the comments that was read in networks. “Hinestroza neither in the VAR, nor of central, what horror of referee”, wrote another person in Twitter.
It should be remembered that this same referee was the one who had an altercation with coach Juan Carlos Osorio, who was sentenced to two months for slapping him.
Pasto beat Santa Fe by the slightest difference, with a goal from Antioquia Jeison Medina. The second leg will be played next Sunday, November 29, at 5:30 pm, in El Campín.
