Gutiérrez explained in a video that he presented a petition to the Presidency, the Government of Tolima and the Ministry of Transportation to remove the plaque. Later, he went to the Administrative Court of Atlántico, and it ruled in favor of the citizen.

Before the judicial decision, Blu Radio says that Invías asked the Council of State to pronounce on the case and make a final decision, to know whether or not it has to withdraw it.
When the La Línea Tunnel was inaugurated, after its construction process lasted more than 100 years, the plaque drew the attention of several citizens who expressed their discomfort through Twitter that the president put their name on a work.
Some said that Duque’s name was even greater than that of the Tunnel itself.
Now, it remains to wait for the final decision to know if the plate goes or stays.
