The incident took place around 9:30 pm, at a station in the Santa Mónica Residencial area of ​​the capital of Valle. There, a man in a long-sleeved soccer jersey, a red cap and with his face covered by a black mask or scarf He shot the woman twice, who, on security cameras, is accompanied by a girl, although it appears that another minor was present.

According to the Cali Metropolitan Police, the woman, who was undocumented, was between 35 and 40 years old. “Due to the seriousness of the wound – the one to the chest – he died at the scene,” the authorities reported in a preliminary report.

The Cali Web news portal said that one of the minors who accompanied the woman told the authorities that, presumably, the person who shot would be the former romantic partner. Yet Official versions of the perpetrator of the crime are unknown.
