The shooting took place inside the Mayfair Mall in the town of Wauwatosa, a suburb of Milwaukee, the largest city in that state in the northern United States, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department confirmed in a tweet that their services were at the scene “in response to a shooting,” along with Wauwatosa police officers.
The attacker “fled,” Wauwatosa Mayor Dennis McBride said, according to ABC News. The lives of the injured would not be in danger, he added, quoted by local media.
