Information confirmed by CM & Noticias, about 3:20 in the afternoon of this Wednesday, and said that the people who were in that sector were evacuated due to the “rupture” of a gas pipe.

The newscast published a video that shows the magnitude of the situation, because there it is seen that while several firefighters launch jets of water, others try to locate the exact point where the escape is.

So far there are no reports of people affected or injured, but the gas leak occurs a day after the relief agency controlled a similar emergency in the Plaza Claro shopping center, a site that was evacuated.

There, according to the Bogota Fire Department report, the “4-inch pipe rupture” occurred, which did not leave people injured.

In addition, on November 16 there was also a leak on a public highway in the Marichuela neighborhood, in the south of Bogotá, and firefighters had to “excavate” to locate the ½-inch pipe that was perforated.

Fortunately, there were no injured people there either, but the photos show that firefighters cut a hole more than a meter deep to reach the tube.
