A novelty that the election of the queen of Colombia had this year is that one of the 16 finalists was chosen by the public, who had the opportunity to vote for his candidate through social networks.
The favorite of the voters was Yeraldin Grajales Arias, who represented the department of Quindío.
Usually the reign was held at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, but this year the organizers took him to Barranquilla.
