Colombia registers 5,911 new infections and 158 deaths from COVID-19, this November 17

The Ministry of Health reported, this November 16, 5,911 new cases of coronavirus in Colombia. In the last 24 hours, 41,889 tests were processed, 28,310 are PCR and 13,579 antigens.

The report also indicates that the number of deaths in the last 24 hours is 158. Thus, the country reaches a total of 34,381 deaths since the virus reached the national territory.

Colombia records in total 1,211,128 cases of covid-19, of which 55,073 are active cases and 1,118,902 correspond to positive cases that have already overcome the disease.

In terms of COVID-19 infections by cities and departments of the country, Bogotá and Antioquia are ahead, followed by Valle.

There are 1,599 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia, Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, North from Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
