(CNN) – Let’s talk about birthday luck. Jon Rahm, on his 26th birthday, potentially produced one of the best golf shots of all time during a practice round this week before the 2020 Masters.

The Spanish golfer bounced the ball across the pond on the 16th hole, as is tradition in the practice rounds leading up to the iconic major in Augusta, Georgia.
But after bouncing favorably when the ball landed on the other side, it went across the lush green of Augusta and finally down the hole for a remarkable hole in one.
Unsurprisingly, Rahm’s extraordinary feat caused fans on Twitter to crumble, with words like ‘ridiculous” Y “absurd”That were used to describe it. Some even they called “Maybe the best golf shot you’ve ever seen.”
Sports reporter Tyler Greever rated “One of the most absurd things I’ve seen in sports.”
And while Rahm’s shot would have likely sent fans on the course delirious, he was only met with cheers from his fellow golfers and their caddies as spectators are not allowed at the Masters in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
