This Sunday the list of eight teams that will compete for the quarterfinal keys of the BetPlay League 2020 will be completed, on date 20 of the ‘all against all’. When the classified teams are ready, they will be drawn into four keys to define the matches.
This was announced by Dimayor, who explained the modality of the draw, how to define which team closes each duel and who will be the seeds. He also confirmed the date, time and where the draw can be seen.
This Monday, November 16, at 7:30 pm, the draw event for the quarterfinals of the 2020 League will begin, as well as the semifinal home runs of the Second Division BetPlay Tournament. It will be seen on TV on Win Sports +.
Here are the details of the draw in the League:
• The 8 clubs classified to the quarterfinals will be divided into 4 keys, which will be called “Key A”, “Key B”, “Key C” and “Key D”. This phase will be played in 2 games, one for the first leg and the other for the return (home and away).
• The clubs that occupy between the first and fourth position, will be seeded and the clubs from the fifth to eighth position, will be located in any of the keys by lottery.
• “Key A” will be headed by the club that occupies the first (1st) position, “Key B” by the club that occupies the second (2nd) position, “Key C” by the club that occupies the third ( 3rd) position, the “Key D” for the club occupying the fourth (4th) position and their respective rivals will be designated by lottery.
• The seeded clubs will start this phase as visitors (first leg).
• In the event that 2 clubs from the same square are responsible for initiating this phase as a local or visitor simultaneously, DIMAYOR will have the power to schedule the matches on different dates. In the event that there is any difficulty with the availability of the sports scenario, the club that is best located in the reclassification table of the BetPlay DIMAYOR 2020 League will start the quarterfinal phase as a visitor, its partner in the place as of local, and the other participating clubs in this phase will have to take advantage of this measure.
