Tropical storm Iota continues to strengthen, according to the latest report issued by the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (Ideam), as a consequence of the natural phenomenon, there have been heavy rains accompanied by electrical activity in coastal sectors Atlántico, Sucre, Bolívar, Magdalena and La Guajira.

Since the early hours of the morning it rains on the department of Atlántico. Authorities have not reported emergencies. However, through the Wasapea line to EL HERALDO they reported a vehicle that fell into a stream in the San Martín neighborhood, on the border with the El Bosque neighborhood.
