Leyton Urrego, mayor of Dabeiba, told Noticias Caracol that the victim was an older adult who was trapped under the rubble of his home, which collapsed in the middle of one of the landslides.
The mayor said that the village of El Mohán had been isolated and it had been impossible to reach it due to the bad weather and the gloom in which the region was submerged, so the number of victims could be higher.
The landslides caused the closure of the road between Uramita and Dabeiba, reported the Government of Antioquia:

According to the Administrative Department of the Antioquia Disaster Prevention, Attention and Recovery System (Dapard), an ambulance overturned and several vehicles had been buried in this sector:

Deputy Camilo Calle showed images of the ambulance and asked for help for the community in the area that lived “moments of anguish and panic due to heavy rains”:
