7 deaths and 250 new infections by Covid-19 in Quindío

This Saturday, October 31, there were 7 deaths from Covid-19 in Quindío, this was announced by the departmental Health Secretariat through its epidemiological bulletin, in which it also describes 250 new infections.

The new cases were presented in Armenia -199-, Calarcá -18-, La Tebaida -9-, Circasia -8-, Quimbaya -7-, Montenegro -6-, Pijao -4-, Filandia -2-, Genoa -1 – and Salento -1-.

The deaths were reported in Armenia and La Tebaida and correspond to 6 men and a woman between 26 and 81 years of age. He is the first man under the age of 30 to appear on the registry. It should be said that the death of a woman in the 20-30 age range had already been documented.

To date, the department has 10,894 confirmed cases, 7,541 recovered, and 269 deaths.

In the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, there are 11,033 new cases in districts and departments such as: Bogotá with 2,190, Antioquia with 2,098, Valle del Cauca with 784, Tolima with 663, Huila with 638, Caldas with 454 , Meta with 443, Cundinamarca with 437, Santander with 426, Cesar with 290, Boyacá with 252, Guajira with 249, Cartagena with 238, Barranquilla with 255, Norte de Santander with 200, Risaralda with 183, Cauca with 153, Córdoba with 144 , Caquetá with 131 and Nariño with 120.

There were 179 deaths related to the virus, older adults are the ones that are repeated the most in the lists. With these figures, Colombia reaches 1,074,184 cases of infections, 969,230 recovered and 31,314 deaths.

In the world there are 45,667,780 confirmed, 29,800,442 recovered and 1,189,499 deceased.
